Panhandle Research and Extension Center

IANR operates three main Research, Extension and Education Centers (REEC) across the state with each having a network of farms, ranches and educational facilities to support the mission of IANR. Located in Scottsbluff, the Panhandle Research, Extension and Education Center (PREEC) plays a central role in agriculture throughout western Nebraska. Thirteen IANR faculty members across multiple disciplines are based at PREEC. They, and other faculty members, provide Extension programming, conduct research, and mentor graduate students through PREEC.
