Our people are our most valuable resource. Supporting faculty members and acknowledging achievements are priorities for nurturing career-long professional development. Tenure and promotion are important to this support and acknowledgement.
Promotion in rank is an acknowledgment of excellence. Tenure is a long-term investment in the sustained contributions of the faculty member. Both are a reflection of cumulative contribution to the mission of IANR and the university.
Departments and schools set their own deadlines for when tenure and/or promotion materials are due for departmental considerations.
All files for tenure and/or promotion are to be submitted via sharepoint to the IANR Vice Chancellor’s Office by November 15, 2021.
