Discussion Panel: “What ideas and needs do you have for your Career Stage?”

On November 10, 2022, WSW hosted a panel of faculty at various stages in their career to share their experience and ideas about the resources needed to have a successful faculty career. The panelists were:

  • Jennifer Wood, Professor, Animal Science
  • Becky Wachs, Assistant Professor, Biological Systems Engineering
  • Jean Ann Fisher, Associate Extension Educator, Nutrition and Health Sciences
  • Renee McFee, Associate Professor, School of Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences

Coffee hours

WSW members got together during the spring semester to enjoy coffee and doughnuts while networking and discussing ideas for professional development, mentoring, and additional networking activities that would support their careers. Two coffee hours were held over spring 2023, and more will be coming in fall 2023.
