All graduate students are welcome.
In this hands-on workshop, you will be introduced to science communication and have the opportunity to learn and apply science communication strategies to craft messages for writing, presentations, traditional and social media. There will also be an opportunity to record a short, professionally recorded video and create an infographic for your research topic.
Senior Director of Communications for the University of Nebraska System, Cara Pesek, and Communication Specialists, Lana Johnson and Ryan Evans, will be joining faculty members Drs. Heather Akin, Christine Booth, Tami Brown Brandl, and Laura Young to help you practice some of the strategies shared in the workshop to create visibility for your work.
Lunch will be served courtesy of CASNR and ARD.
