IANR Budget
Vice Chancellor Boehm shared details of the IANR budget, encouraged faculty and staff to attend President Bounds’ forums and look at the materials he provides, and emphasized staying focused on IANR’s missions of teaching, research and extension
IANR Strategic Planning for Teaching Workforce
The committee and Vice Chancellor Boehm discussed the importance of all educators, both tenured and non-tenured, to work together to move IANR’s strategic vision forward
Road Scholars Tour
The committee was tasked with considering whether or not the tour should be open to more than just IANR faculty, prioritizing the tour visits, and brainstorming ways to connect more university employees with the citizens of Nebraska through this event
Liaison Committee
The committee decided to meet in person with the Vice Chancellor twice a semester for two full hours, while the faculty on the committee will also have conversations on their own (either virtually or in person) to discuss their input on issues and topics ahead of the meetings with the Vice Chancellor
Action Items for Committee:
- Attend and share details of President Bounds’ forums
- Brainstorm Road Scholars Tour (there will be a special meeting just for this topic)
- Look at APC document
- Figure out what how the role of the Liaison committee is similar and different to other faculty groups and let the Vice Chancellor know what he should expect from this particular group
